What’s ahead

On Sunday, Dec. 2, I’ll be at the St. Louis Genealogical Society Book Jamboree from 1-3 p.m. at the society’s office at 4 Sunnen Drive, Ste. 140, in Maplewood. It’s always a great place to buy books on local history.
Then on Thursday, Dec. 6, I’ll be back at the German Cultural Society Hall at 3652 S. Jefferson Ave. for the “Alle Jahre Wieder” Christmas Show and Dinner. Copies of the book will be available for $21.50, including tax. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the show at 7 p.m.
The cost for the meal and program is $30. For more information and reservation, call John Pappert at 314-894-2198 or e-mail [email protected].
