By my calendar, the release party for “The Making of an Icon: The Dreamers, the Schemers, and the Hard Hats Who Built the Gateway Arch” will be exactly a month from today. Here’s a big invite to anyone who can read this to attend the event from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at the Tavern of Fine Arts, 313 Belt Ave. in the Central West End. There will be other signings and events, of course. But this will be your first chance to buy a book and have me sign it. You’ll have a one-time only opportunity to meet people who helped me write it. And you can buy some great food in a fantastic atmosphere.
