Busy, Busy Day

Sunday is shaping up to be a most busy day. At 7:45 a.m., I’ll be talking about The Making of an Icon: The Dreamers, The Schemers, and The Hard Hats Who Built the Gateway Arch on Fox 2 News in the morning. After that, I’ll be off to church and then make a quick change into my lederhosen. Starting at noon and going for the rest of the afternoon, I’ll be selling Beer, Brats, and Baseball: St. Louis Germans along with The Making of an Icon at the German Cultural Society’s annual Maifest at Donau-Park, 5020 West Four Ridge Road, House Springs. The society’s Maifest is about as authentic as any in the region. If you come, stop by my book table.
