Fresh books for sale

marketBeginning Saturday morning, I’ll be hanging out with the sellers of locally-grown asparagus, broccoli and corn at the Tower Grove Farmers Market. On eight Saturday mornings from now through the middle of August, I’ll sell and sign my books at the market.

Come out and grab the freshest of food at the market while you buy my books Hoosiers and Scrubby Dutch: St. Louis’s South Side, Beer, Brats, and Baseball: St. Louis Germans and The Making of an Icon: The Dreamers, the Schemers, and the Hard Hats Who Built the Gateway Arch.

Because of another commitment, the farmers market will be at the City Garden Montessori School, 1618 Tower Grove Ave., this Saturday. The market will be back at Tower Grove Park when I’m there on May 16, May 23, June 13, July 4, August 1, August 8 and August 15.  It’s open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ya’ll come, hear?
